Apple Thyme Flatbread - Recipe




Apple Thyme Flatbread

(Serves 4)

1 Apple peeled and sliced
8 oz. Mozzarella Goat Cheese
7 Sprigs Fresh Thyme Leaves
1/2 tsp. Salt
2 T. Olive Oil
2 Cloves Garlic diced
1/2 Whole Wheat Bread Dough Recipe

Preheat oven with a pizza stone on a middle rack to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.  Preheat the pizza stone for 30 minutes prior to baking.

In a large bowl combine apple, mozzarella, thyme, salt, olive oil, and garlic.  Toss to coat.

Roll out the bread dough on a piece of parchment paper as you would roll out pizza dough.  Slide the parchment with the dough onto a pizza peel.

Distribute the ingredients evenly over the flatbread, then transfer the flatbread off the parchment onto the pizza stone.  Bake for 15 minutes until the crust is a light golden brown.

Rolling on parchment.

Toss ingredients with olive oil.

Transfer to pizza stone.

Ready to bake.
