Cookbook Sent to Publisher

Hurray!  Exceptional Comfort The Recipes, Volume I is at the publishers.  I am so excited to tell you about this book.  It has been over a year in the making.  A year of cooking and testing recipes has finally produced my first comfort food cookbook.  I have included some of the recipes in this blog.  There are 140 recipes for you to enjoy.

It is my intention to bring exceptional comfort to all who try these recipes.  Making food for those we love is an expression of giving of ourselves.  Take comfort in preparing them as you smell the herbs permeate your kitchen as you braise the stews and roasts.  Learn how to make the little dumpling-like noodles called spaetzle, and the famous Yorkshire pudding.  Enjoy the sweet and creamy, warm snow pudding after you shovel snow.  Some dishes are new and some have their origin over one hundred years ago.  I created exceptional flavor and texture baking with goat butter, yogurt, and cheese.  I took advantage of the rich creaminess of coconut milk in deserts like raspberry cream.  Apples, blackberries, and the mysterious cloudberries star along with chocolate, brandy, candied ginger, and dates in brownies, cakes, muffins, pies, and tarts for ultimate comfort.

It is estimated to be ready the end of May, 2011.

Update:  Physical cookbook is sold out and no longer available.
