Barbecue Sauce - Recipe



(Covers 4 racks of Pork Ribs)

1 c. Ketchup
2 T. Dijon Mustard
1/2 c. Apple Cider Vinegar
4 T. Molasses
1 tsp. Chili Powder
1 tsp. Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp. Salt

1/8 tsp. Cayenne Pepper
1/2 tsp. Black Pepper freshly ground
3 T. Olive Oil
1 tsp. Crushed Red Pepper
1/2 tsp. Ground Ginger
1 tsp. Brown Sugar
3 T. Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

Combine all ingredients except chocolate in a sauce pan, and simmer on low for 10 minutes stirring often until glossy and slightly thickened. Add the chocolate and stir until melted. Taste and adjust seasonings and brown sugar. Set aside to use on ribs or chicken.
